DVD Master Specs
Healey TMS Inc. is committed to providing the highest quality DVD products in the industry. To assure optimum quality, Healey TMS manufactures according to the DVD Specifications for Read-Only Disc and conducts statistical process control and systematic defect sampling throughout the manufacturing process. Healey TMS also performs data validation between the customer's input media and samples of the final product.

DVD5 Single Layer 4,706,643,181 bytes
DVD10 Double Sided: 9,413,286,362 bytes
DVD9 Dual Layer: 8,554,258,170 bytes
The volumes listed above include file system overhead. That overhead depends on the number of files and directories contained within the data image.

Images must be written in DDP2.0 or CMF format.
Types of Media Input
The following specifications describe the input media formats Healey TMS currently accepts for DVD Mastering.
DLT III,IV
Healey TMS accepts the DLT III and DLT IV tapes that are readable on a DLT4000, DLT7000 or DLT8000 drive. Images supplied on this media must be written in DDP2.0, DDP2.1 or CMF format.
AIT 1
Healey TMS accepts AIT 1 tapes with image content formatted in DDP2.0, CMF, or Sony Format 1.0.
DVD (Replicated Disc)
Healey TMS accepts unencrypted manufactured DVDs for mastering. Encrypted discs are not accepted. The media should be high quality free of scratches and imperfections.
DVD (Recordable Disc)
DVD-R for Authoring is accepted for Encrypted CMF disc
DVD±R/RW (single or Dual Layer) media are accepted with caution that not all software creates a good Master disc and should be tested before submitting an order.
* Sony DADC cannot accept Multi-Session/Multi-Border DVD-R as input media
