Steps In The Production Process
After we receive your parts to get your job underway, here are the steps and average turnaround times for each step in the Production Process:
Step One
Your artwork is put into our design queue for either a simple Filecheck or a Full Design and we prepare to send you an electronic proof. Filechecks are typically completed within 1-2 business days and a Full Design is typically completed within 3-5 business days.
Step Two
After we receive your approval on the artwork, your print artwork proceeds to Pre-Press, where plates are made for the printing process. At the same time your Audio Master is sent to Glass Mastering, where the final Stamper will be created to replicate your discs. Typical turnaround time is 1-2 days.
Step Three
Once your discs and printing are underway, typical turnaround time is 5-7 days.
Step Four
Your parts are either prepped to ship bulk, or they are placed in the finishing/packaging queue. Typical turnaround time is 1-2 days.
Step Five
The finished discs are shipped!
